La Belle Étoile is a Biker friendly B&B situated in Western France, mid-way en-route South to Spain or the Pyrenees and less than a five hour ride from Caen and Dunkirk ferry ports.
Located with comfortable overnight biker friendly accommodation in the heart of the French countryside, 12 miles south of historic Parthenay on the D938 and equally 12 miles north west from the A10 Sortie 31 Péage de Saint-Maixent-l’École, in the Deux-Sèvres region of Western France.
You will be assured of a warm welcome at this quality biker friendly B&B in Poitou-Charentes, whether it’s for an overnight stay en-route south towards the Pyrenees and the Spanish border or you’re taking the time to explore this fabulous region! We are a short distance south of the Loire valley with its vineyards and its rich heritage of châteaux, an hours ride to La Rochelle and the wonderful Île de Ré with Cognac just a little further south in the Charente.
Set in grounds of just over four acres with our driveway just off the D938 main road, this large former farmhouse is accommodating with comfortable generous sized double bedroom’s, with USB charging and UK to Euro plug converters for your convenience, shared large bathroom facilities with plenty of hot water and a good shower.
Further there are specialist BikerTidy units to store your motorcycle kit, undercover bike parking with wash and maintenance facilities and a wonderful large courtyard to sit, relax and enjoy a complimentary beer or glass of wine on arrival reflecting on the days ride. It really is very calm and peaceful at La Belle Étoile as you listen to the swallows chirping and marvel at their flying skills!
After a good night’s sleep a substantial continental style breakfast, including fresh croissants, omelettes and eggs on request, French bread a selection of ham and salami with unlimited tea and filter coffee, will set you up for the day ahead on the bike!
